Oupa has worked extensively in the public sector organizations including serving such roles as being a Director for Restructuring Management in the Limpopo Department of Treasury, as well as being an economist for the Land Bank and Department of Minerals and Energy.

Rhulani Kubayi is an environmental specialist with more than ten years’ experience in the resource conservation and environmental management fields. He has work for the Gauteng and Western Cape Provincial governments as a Regional Ecologist involved primarily in biodiversity conservation in both nature reserves and off conservation areas. As a consultant he has coordinated many environmental management programmes and environmental impact assessments applications (EIA’s, EMP’s etc). He holds an M.Sc. in Resource Conservation Biology from Wits University.

Prof Anim is one of the Directors of NRM Consulting and holds membership of several local and international professional bodies.

Mr. Aspeling has over 30 years of experience as a manager in the food chain industry having been responsible for management of farms, feedlots, abattoirs, etc. among his notable achievements are owning a game farm , managing an auctioneering business, being directly involved in the export and import markets, as well as trading in the stock exchange. Mr Aspeling is one of the associate partners at NRM Consulting.

Ms Mapiyeye is a Director at NRM Consulting and lends support in business and company development activities for NRM Consulting. She offers logistics support and ensures that all professionals at NRM Consulting are provided with the necessary tools and resources and to ensure that their work is in line with all statutory requirements. She is one of the co-founders and an Executive Director of NRM Consulting. Prior to joining NRM Consulting, she worked as a Programme Facilitator for the South African component of the SADC Biodiversity Support Programme.

Dr Zhou is a land use planner and environmental resource management specialist with a wealth of experience as an advisor, educator, researcher and consultant. His line of interest is in soil surveys, land evaluation for agricultural development programmes; Land rehabilitation; assessment of land capability, etc.

Shepherd trained as a banker with CBZ Bank Limited, and later on joined FBC Bank Limited which are listed financial institutions before pursuing a career in consulting initially with an international auditing firm. He has over ten years working experience in retail banking (credit & operations), consulting (asset management & performance improvement solutions, strategy, internal auditing, economic analysis, potentials assessment, market analysis, project management, and financing of large scale infrastructural & other projects), and the retail industry (finance). He is a former Finance Manager of a retail group. While with the retail group in his role as the Finance Manager, he centralized and set up the credit function and policies. His exposure in strategy and performance improvement solutions saw him developing a working capital management model for the retail group that was premised on the Balanced Score Card, the BCG Matrix and other business models. His banking career included structuring various credit products for clients from all walks of industries, building of a profitable clientele base. He holds a B Com (Honours) in Banking, a Master of Science in Banking & Financial Services and is a candidate on the CFA Program. Shepherd joined NRM Consulting in November 2010 to head the Economic and Advisory Unit.
